The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has introduced several major changes for the RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) recruitment CEN 06/2026
Main Changes & Update for 2026:
- CBT (The Computer-Based Aptitude Test) has been removed as there are no applicable posts requiring it in this cycle.
- CBTST (The Typing Skill Test ) for typist posts has been removed from the pre-selection stages whereas Typing test will be after joining.

RRB NTPC UG 2026 β Selection Process
ONLY ONE online application through unified official RRB website is required to be submitted by the candidate.
Candidates can apply to only one RRB, the selection of RRB once exercised shall be final. Application to more than one
RRB by a candidate will lead to rejection of all the applications and he/she will be debarred from all future RRB & RRC
examinations.
The recruitment process shall involve :

- 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)

The typing skill test for NTPC Graduate recruitment to the posts of Senior Clerk (Level 5) and Junior Accounts Assistant
(Level 5) has been dispensed with for CEN 06/2026. Candidates are still expected to have basic computer proficiency,
including adequate typing proficiency. Their proficiency will be assessed after joining, and unsatisfactory performance
may affect / delay their confirmation or promotion.

The Computer Based Tests will cover subjects such as:
