Fee Exemption: Women, SC/ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt from the application fee and receive a full refund of the processing fee after appearing in the written test.
Note: Other candidates effectively pay ₹250 for the first group and ₹100 for the second group after the applicable refund. Candidates who do not appear in the written test will not receive a refund.

The selection process differs according to the post:
- Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Library Assistant, Technician-B and Draughtsman-B: Written Test and Skill Test.
- Nurse-B: Written Test and Skill Test.
- Fireman-A: Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
- Light Vehicle Driver and Heavy Vehicle Driver: Written Test and Skill Test.
- MTS: Written Test.
